Read the stories of TEFL graduates who are now living and teaching abroad with their TEFL certification

Gregory
Gregory earned his TEFL certification back in May of 2014 and has been teaching in Seoul, South Korea ever since.
“I caught the “travel bug” while on my semester abroad during college, and I knew that I wanted to live abroad after graduating. Teaching abroad seemed like a fun and easy way to do it.”
“I work as the only native English speaking teacher at my school, located in Seoul, Korea. It is a public school, and I teach all the 4th, 5th and 6th grade students (totalling about 700).”
“The most rewarding part of teaching abroad has been seeing my students become more interested in speaking English. Whether they are participating more in class, or wanting to talk to me in English after class is over, seeing that my teaching has a positive impact on their lives makes it all worth it.”

Byron
Byron is a licensed teacher who took his teaching career overseas to the Middle East after preparing with our TEFL certification course.
“I thought: “What if I could do the two things I love the most in the world? Travel and teach!” With that, I let Google lead me to a job in Saudi Arabia. Since then I haven’t looked back and I’m still constantly traveling and teaching abroad.”
“One of the best things you can do is realize that the students you had in your home country are not like your new, foreign students. This course will help you to understand why and teach you how to reach them.”
“This course gave me insights into the complex nature of the Arabic language. This has given me a competitive edge in the classroom and ultimately benefitted my students, while making me more successful as I pursue my passion for teaching and empowering students.”

Dan
After earning his TEFL certificate in the summer of 2015, Dan now enjoys life in Guangeng, China, where he teaches middle school English to EFL learners.
“The most rewarding part of teaching abroad for me, is the adventure that is waiting for me every day. I wake up inspired and ready to go, that is something I had been missing for a long time.”
“The program fit my needs perfectly and I trusted that the university would not lend their name to an inferior course. The course has a wealth of reference material to take with you and I highly recommend it.”

Bethany
After being inspired by several of her professors who taught abroad, Bethany now teaches English to young learners at an English language school in Tomiyo, Japan.
“There have been a lot of great experiences teaching abroad, but the one thing that has kept me going even in the down times has been the smiles of my students. I believe they have changed my life as much as I have changed theirs!”
